I was approach by the Charlotte chapter of the AIGA to design a t-shirt for a screen printing event. The focus of the design was the city of Charlotte itself and how it is called "The Queen City" and has been described as "A Hornet's Nest of Rebellion". I came up with two unique designs and during the event attendees could choose which shirt they wanted to have printed. One design was inspired from vintage badge designs while the other was a hand-drawn crown formed by the word "Charlotte".
